studded beauties

cardigan- Kate Moss for Topshop
dress- Lapis
lace scarf- random
coral flower ring- Maui Diver's
studded boots- MIU MIU

It was fantastic to see the sun today! We got our first falling of snow this morning and the sun's reflection lit up my dark old farmhouse. Something about the Autumny early Winter feel outside in some strange way made me feel warm, cozy and a little romantic about life inside. I felt the urge to put on something visually warm and floral. I fell in love with this Lapis dress the second I saw it. I love the wrinkled print affect along with the silky material. The added sequins sporadically placed throughout the dress give it an extra flair of fun and flirty. I don't know if the shoes make the dress or the dress makes the shoes. But I can't help but feel that everything looks 100 times better with these little studded beauties.

day in denmark

I thoroughly enjoyed a day trip to a coastal village in Denmark called Aabenraa. The sun was shining and the sea was clear and calm. A wind free day is most often a rare phenomenon in this region of Europe, and one I take full advantage of whenever possible. Along with enjoying the beautiful coast line, I hunted down a few cozy boutiques to get a taste of the local fashion trends. Not only were the looks elegant and simple, they were street chic, but had an easy day to night practicality. Most of these gorgeous finds can be spotted at Petrea A, as shown directly above. The customer service there was friendly and helpful. Unfortunately they were about to close, and my battery died in the camera. I definately need to come back.

cage me

socks- Betsey Johnson
shoes- YSL cage booties

A shopping trip last week landed me this adorable pair of socks from Betsey Johnson. I like to occasionally add a little oomph to my wardrobe whether it's a wild colored jacket or funky unmentionables. I don't really have much in this electric blue shade, so they instantly caught my eye. They were sitting at the bottom of the bargain barrel for only 1€, even better.

topman

vintage army jacket, washed tee- Topman
jeans- Current Elliott
boots- Isabel Marant

Occasionally I'm in the mood to dress masculine. Ok I confess....... I often like to dress like a dude. My father raised me more like a son than a daughter, and it shows in my wardrobe choices. Recently I had been looking for the perfect simple boyfriend t-shirts. I was having the hardest time finding what I wanted without spending over 100 $,€ etc.
Then it occurred to me, why not shop from a proper source?!? A trip to Topman was all it took, I'm hooked!!!
They were having a fantastic sale and I picked up several great and inexpensive items. Among t-shirts I snagged this authentic vintage Italian army jacket. There's only a limited quantity being they're genuinely vintage and believe me, it's vintage. It smells like what I pick up at the flea market. And I love it!!! It's not easy for me to find old army clothing in an XS. This was the last one they had in stock. I'm a happy girl.

deco

I would describe my personal decorating taste as bohemian carnival meets old world French. I love adding vintage into my decor. I think it's the idea of getting something that's either impossible to find, or almost one of a kind that I find simply irresistible. There's a certain thrill about this sort of treasure hunting, looking for that "thing" you haven't seen before, or maybe never will again. To sweeten the deal even more, when you pick this thing up for less than 10€. In some cases maybe only 50 cents! That's my kind of shopping.

not so sun day

Another week has come and gone. I'm having so much more fun blogging than I thought I would. It's been fantastic being in touch with so many talented people, and sharing my own personal view point. I want to say an especially big thank you for the warm encouragement and inspiration I've gotten from friends (Johanna and V you know who you are). And a big kiss to my new and recent readers. I look forward to sharing more fun and interesting pieces with you this week. Enjoy your Sunday! xoxo

victorian sci-fi surgery

source- Gabriella Marina Gonzalez

I have a weakness for styles that have a mix of old with modern. Gabriella Marina Gonzalez offers a dark creative edge to her work. Despite the rough tough girl, still a softer side to her looks pulls through creating a perfect balance. When I spotted these unbelievable wedges, my jaw dropped, I saw stars and a bond of love of some sorts was created. It's the perfect twist of 1940's secretary shags a 17th century chopine creating this perfectly beautiful love child. Ms. Gabriella, one pair for me please.

thank you

I wanted to take this opportunity to thank my little personal photographer and beloved daughter, for patiently helping me to get this blog going and learning photography to quickly. Without her, this would be so much more challenging!!! Thank you sweety.
