Recently I've been a bit bored with fashion. I needed something to reignite my inspiration for the new upcoming season. 

British Vogue didn't let me down. These looks from Olivier Theyskens Theory Capsule Collection are a true reflection of what I love about the new and looks to be here to stay minimalism! 

There are a plethora of cuts to choose from in separates and dresses. There were so many looks I fell in love with that it was difficult to choose favorites. With his pieces priced in the hundreds versus the thousands from his designs from earlier Nina Ricci collections, this girl just might be able to snag a thing or two.

I'm feeling terribly guilty about my lack of posts as of late. The end of the year proved to be much more time consuming than I expected. In any case......... are you guys tired of leopard yet??? I mean it's been blogged to death hasn't it? I used to think only older woman could pull it off. But I stand completely corrected. I only have 2 items in my wardrobe right now that are "leopardish". A pair of Moschino heart shaped leopard spot jeans, and these OH MY GOSH HOW COULD I HAVE LIVED ALL MY LIFE WITHOUT THESE!!!! little platforms from L'autre Chose. They happened to be the only pair that Yoox had at the time. They were 36's so I hesitated on the purchase. Then the unthinkable happened. Someone bought them! Oh I was devastated. But I didn't give up. About 2 to 3 weeks later they popped back up again. I had a sneaky suspicion that they ran large. Sure enough, someone returned them and I bought them on the spot! 

I love shoes from the 1940's. The super high platforms, the peep toes, the slingbacks........ The big paper-like flower on top sealed the deal.

I love love love MIU MIU. Season after season I drool and lust over the looks of this label. I adore the youthful girly appeal, and every season offers a new and interesting twist. This resort collection is covered in prints in bold luscious colors. I love apple and heart prints. Especially all the hearts. Wide leg pants and the long skirts are hot! I'm never bored with MIU MIU.
