sneaker revolution

I've tried ignoring it. I've tried avoiding it...... Where I live Nike or Reebok trainers with flared jeans are the thing to wear. And I despise and abhor it. Fashion at it's worst. How can you even call that fashion? It's not. It's just throwing on what's convenient and comfy to get from point A to point B. I mean, whatever floats your boat I guess. Other than a pair of Nike sneakers my husband twisted my arm into buying at the flea market for 5€ I havn't owned a pair for as long as I can remember.

When Isabel Marant came out with her hidden wedge sneaker I wasn't impressed, at all. Then Willow appeared and I got curious. Now Bekett showed up and I was hooked. Hooked enough that I actually grabbed a pair. (Just happened to be sitting at the computer at the right moment when NAP sent their "What's New" email to registered customers.) Knowing how hard they are to come by I just accepted the possibility that I wouldn't be able to get a pair of my own, so decided to find an alternative. I adore Yoox and checked out their selection. After a lot of back and forth I just couldn't pass up this sweet little pair for 26€ after discounts. They remind me of the skater/alternative fashion that was big in the 90's. Grabbed a pair for myself and my teeny. If you're a 35.5, last chance!
